Squirrel Mailbox
A beautiful painted mailbox with squirrels on both sides. One side has a squirrel sitting and holding a tasty nut or seed while another squirrel above leaps from tree to tree. The arrow side of the decorative mailbox has a large squirrel tucking into lunch, his back turned showing off his bushy tail.
Each squirrel mailbox is hand painted by me with detailed brush strokes - no stencils - each decorative mailbox is slightly different. An original painted mailbox to give a unique finishing touch to your home, or a special gift for that special someone.
Each squirrel mailbox is hand painted to order and costs $120.
Personalization of your squirrel mailbox is free. Just let me know if you would like your family/house name on the side and/or a street number on the flap. Day of shipping is usually within 2-6 weeks of order. Each mailbox is hand painted individually; time taken depends on orders in queue. Order being from the day payment has cleared in my account.

Each decorative mailbox is hand painted with acrylic paints then sealed with several layers of clear, UV resistant lacquer. The mailboxes are steel, standard size USPS approved.
Squirrels run riot in my backyard at all times of the year so I have plenty of models to choose from! However, the two painted sitting on the sides of the squirrel mailbox I came across while walking in a town park one beautful Autumn day. The one painted on the arrow side of the mailbox was only a few feet away and turned its back as I approached as if to say “This is mine!” The town park squirrels were quite used to humans, probably fed by visitors and not as skittish as the ones in my backyard or the nearby state park.
